More than 200 people attended a public meeting to discuss a controversial leaked document highlighting potential travellers' sites.

Residents at the Groby Parish Council meeting, at Groby Community College last night, gave their views on the potential site off Sacheverell Way, in Groby.

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council reports have highlighted two possible large traveller sites in Groby and Thurlaston Lane, Earl Shilton, although no decisions have been made.

The papers also showed four possible smaller locations in Stanton under Bardon, Stoke Golding, Newbold Verdon and the west of Hinckley.

See tomorrow's Leicester Mercury for full coverage.
