Dear Neighbours,
No matter what claims have been made to the contrary that may have provided you with false reassurance, Groby could still face the threat of a Gypsy/Traveller transit site or a permanent Gypsy/Traveller residential site as well as a minimum of another 109 new houses being built and the settlement boundary of our village being expanded into the surrounding Green Belt.
If you are not happy with this please sign the petition now going around the village or better still download a copy from the attachment and get together with you friends and neighbours and see if you can fill a page or 2.
Please note all occupants of a house who are on the Electoral Register can sign, you are not limited to 1 signature per household.
Please support this one last big effort before the Consultation period ends and take this opportunity to make sure that the voice of Groby is heard and not ignored.
Completed petition sheets can be dropped off at the Groby Parish Council office or if you prefer just ring Bob McQuillin on 0116 287 8989 and he will make arrangents for collection.
