Timetable for the 'Site Allocation Document' & approval (Updated 28.1.09)
These are the key dates associated with the getting the Site Allocation Strategy approved:
20 January 2009 The proposed 'Site Allocations Document' will be presented to Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council for 'approval to consult'
9th February - 6th April 2009 If approved, that document will be subject to a public consultation period, during which time individuals (you), Parish Councils and other organisations will be able to submit their comments for or against the proposals.
September/October 2009 Once that 6-week consultation period is completed, all comments will be considered and a document produced which will be submitted to the Government.
Summer of 2010 That document will be subject to a public examination and approval/amendment by a Government Inspector in the
before it is ultimately adopted towards the end of 2010.
End 2010 Final conclusion is reached.
